Concordia Retirement Center Honors Bella Vista EMS Personnel
Celebration Given in Recognition of National EMS Week, May 18-24
BELLA VISTA, Ark. (June 9, 2014) – Concordia Retirement Center staff and residents thanked Bella Vista emergency medical services personnel in a big way last week.
Local paramedics and emergency medical technicians were treated to a six-foot sub sandwich, chips, soda and an ambulance cake on Thursday, May 22, in observance of National EMS Week. The theme of this year’s weeklong celebration is, "EMS: Dedicated For Life."
Concordia Marketing Director Linda Woollett brought lunch to Bella Vista Fire & EMS Chief Steve Sims and his staff in appreciation of their hard work and service to the community.
"We are so appreciative of Bella Vista’s EMS Department that works hard throughout the year,” Woollett said. “They work tirelessly for this community, and this is one small way we can thank them for providing all of us with the best emergency medical services in northwest Arkansas, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We are proud to call them our own."
